There are a lot of free career services available but, unfortunately,
the vast majority are not effective for executives and professionals. Such services
include church job seeker groups, mutual support groups, web-based seminars, and untold amateurs
who fashion themselves to be experts regarding the current job market.

process. We began our business during the 2001 recession and fashioned our services based upon what would work

As of April, 2012, national unemployment remained 45% above normal. The rate in Atlanta stood at 9.2%, well above the national

search nationally grew from 29.8 weeks to 39.9 weeks in the period from January, 2010, to July,
2011. Eights months later, by 4/1/2012, the figure had only dropped half a week to 39.3 weeks. This means an average job seeker looking for a $50K job was out of work 9+ months and lost over
$35K of income ... and an above average job seeker looking for a $150K job was out of work 12+ months and lost
over $150K of income.
These negative statistics are the result of fundamental changes in the way companies are now finding, interviewing,
selecting, hiring, and downsizing employees.
It is a brave new world and last-century career strategies have become largely ineffective in today's hypercompetitive
job market where there are approximately seven times more job seekers than jobs.
