We are Different

There are a lot of free career services available but, unfortunately, the vast majority are not effective for executives and professionals. Such services include church job seeker groups, mutual support groups, web-based seminars, and untold amateurs who fashion themselves to be experts regarding the current job market. When you take the time to consider that ineffective services can delay your career progress and personal happiness, these types of services can be, in fact, economically and emotionally costly ... despite no out of pocket costs to you.

There are also various paid career services available such as company-paid outplacement, career marketing firms, career counselors, and career coaches. Many of these old-style paid services are also not effective in today's job market. We are different from all of these free and paid alternatives. Although we can shift into "coaching mode" when needed, we mostly offer expert advisement as trained consultants. We take the time to understand your unique talents and needs, then consult with you and mentor you through your career change process until you achieve your objective. We began our business during the 2001 recession and formulated our programs based upon what worked under the most difficult employment market conditions of our lifetime.

We are also different because our founders have lifetimes of varied professional experience and professional qualifications unmatched by other career firms. Richard is a true consultant, certified nationally as a Certified Management Consultant, a Board Certified Coach in the career specialty, and a Certified Personnel Consultant. Likewise, Robin is a Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist, a Certified Life Coach, and an Advanced Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist.
